This course emphasizes the reading and analysis of a variety of literary types as forms of cultural and creative expression and highlights themes and experiences common to the human existence and experience. Specific topics are determined by the instructor and the course focuses on texts that reflect different historical and cultural contexts and perspectives.(Formerly ENGL 2030)
Prerequisite: ENGL 1020
