HONS 1001 - Service Learning Honors I |
This course is designed for students who participate in the Honors Program and involves on-campus or off-campus volunteer service in a program approved by the Honors Program Director. Students must commit to complete one hour per week of volunteer service and submit a portfolio at the end of the semester.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Honors Program or Approval from the Honors Program Director.
Student Group for Whom Course is Required/Intended: This course is intended for Honors Program students to engage in community/service learning and to earn credit toward the Honors requirements.
This course will transfer as lower division elective credit. MTSU currently offers two upper division community/service learning courses.
